ONEREEL® Empty Corrugated Cable Spool have reels of carpentry construction, consisting of reinforced sheet, welded laminate or finned flange construction for internal process or unidirectional multi-transport cables, pipes and ferrous wire. Structural scrolls are definitely the more versatile model and can be highly customized to specific client requirements.

ONEREEL® Empty Corrugated Cable Spool Feature and Application
Structural steel reel provided with finned flanges and suitable for all types of cable, strands, ferrous and nonferrous wires. This kind of reel is suitable for many applications, in particular for the production of cables in annealing, stranding, bunching, armoring processes and for one-way/multiple shipping of the finished products. It is manufactured with dimensions according to DIN standards (46395/46397/46391) or to customer specification.

ONEREEL® Empty Corrugated Cable Spool Details
ONEREEL® Empty Corrugated Cable Spool flanges have flange diameters up to 4000 mm. The flange reinforcement ribs can be tapered or cylindrical, depending on the specific requirements, and rounded to avoid sharp edges or roughness that could damage the wrapping material.
Standard models are made of steel, all surfaces are epoxy coated, but different types of materials or treatments are available upon customer request (stainless steel or hot dip galvanized for marine or immersion tanks, polyurethane painted, for Exposed tropicalization handles high temperatures or humid environments).
Reels are specially designed according to customer requirements, specific applications and required capacities. On request, FEA simulations (Finite Element Analysis) can also be used to evaluate application-specific reel designs.
