1. The transmission flow rate of aluminum
core wires with the same specifications as the cable reel is about 0.7 times
that of copper cores. The selection of aluminum core wires is larger than that
of copper core wires. XLPE insulation can use smaller specifications. Larger
sizes should be used. The calculated capacity in the table is calculated with
three-phase 380V Cosφ = 0.85. When the ambient temperature is high or when the
application is open, the safe flow rate will decrease, and a larger
specification should be used at this time; when it is used for frequent
starting of the motor, a larger specification should be selected 2 to 3 times.
2. According to experience, because of its
large load current, the low-voltage power line generally chooses the
cross-section according to the heating conditions, and then checks its voltage
loss and mechanical strength; because of its high voltage level requirements,
the low-voltage lighting line can be allowed first. Select the section
according to the voltage loss condition, and then check the heating condition
and mechanical strength; first select the section according to the economic
current density, and then check its heat generation and allowable voltage loss;
for high-voltage overhead lines, check its mechanical strength.
